Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Decatur County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email message when needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers automatically receive basic technical information about that visit:

No Warrant Data on File
Decatur County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. The site gives general directions to Iowa Courts Online, the Decatur County Clerk of Court, and the Decatur County Sheriff. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing practices govern information submitted through those tools, and we do not control those choices. Read the applicable partner policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to sheriff's office pages, court portals, statewide warrant systems, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.

We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
